Danone Dumex sees 15 pct increase in revenue with new product

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 (The Malaysian Times): Danone Dumex (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (DanoneDumex) expects it revenue to increase by 15 per cent this year with the launchof Dumex Mamil PreciNutriTM in the super premium category.

The PreciNutriTM is a new and improved range of milk, which addresses thenutritional needs of children at every stage of their growing-up life.

The company said the improved range would provide a child with rightnutrients at the right age, from the womb with Mamil Mama to their growing-upyears with Mamil Learning 3 and Mamil Active 4.

Its Managing Director, Toni Brendish, said the company’s revenue target wasachievable with the introduction of the new product which would enhance theneeds of customers especially mothers and children.

She said this at the launch of the product here today. The PreciNutriTM will be available at all leading supermarkets andhypermarkets nationwide. The Mamil Mama is priced at RM34.90 while Mamil Learning 3 is priced atRM40.70 and Mamil Active 4 at RM37.30 for the regular 600 gramme.

The company manufactures its products at a state-of-the art plant in Nilai,Negeri Sembilan. Besides its Malaysian and Singapore market, the company alsoexports its products to other countries in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
